BEAUTY TRENDS 2019

Chemyunion recently presented its take on the Beauty Trends for 2019.

The company has identified a few key ingredient trends which the company believes will prove popular.

The first looks at seed infusions.  Seeds form the very heart of a plant and seeds represent the most concentrated form of nutrition produced by nature.  Concentrated seed infusions can be used in products to nourish the skin and hair.

Chemyunion solution: Nourishing Seeds Oil provides a source of fatty acids and omegas 3,6, 7 and 9.  It restores the hair lipids by forming a hydrating layer which provides softness, enhances combing and detangling.

Adaptogens are ancient herbs such as Licorice, Rhodiola (commonly golden root, rose root, roseroot, Aaron's rod, Arctic root or king's crown), and Ashwagandha (also known as Indian Ginseng). They help the body deal with daily stress and have been used for centuries in Chinese and Ayurvedic remedies however they are finding their way into many modern formulations.

Chemyunion solution: Licorice Infusion for Male Skin combines the adaptogenic properties of licorice with hops, French rose, panthenol and menthol to soothe the skin as well as reduce excessive oiliness and signs of ageing.

The move towards ‘natural nutrition for the skin’ continues to gain popularity.  Electrolytes in the form of mineral electrolytes can be found in seaweed, aloe, and coconut water.

Chemyunion solution: Seaweed Electrolytes and Licorice Infusion combines the adaptogenic properties of licorice with the hydration of seaweed electrolytes and can be used to replenish scalp, reduce oiliness and promote a clean, fresh feeling.

Finally since being cleared for use in several countries, Hemp is rapidly gaining popularity in beauty care.  Hemp oil can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles as well as prevent signs of ageing from developing.
